It’s not lunchtime anymore, but I’m participating now. I would invite both of my parents and my sister, my boyfriend, and three of my close friends (the ones who live in town). I choose these people because they’re the ones I would be least intimidated to cook for. Also the ones I’m fairly sure would come. I have a hostessing inferiority complex. I’d make baked mac and cheese, ideally, because it’s easy and good, but maybe I’d go with meat and potatoes instead, because my boyfriend’s gluten intolerant. Ha.
