About the Author

Avatar of [E] Sally Lawton

[E] Sally LawtonI have an MA in political theory. By night I read and write about political theory or make attempts at the great American novel (or watch Doctor Who). By day, I hope for better things. I have my own blog, themostpretentiousblog.blogspot.com, which features me writing philosophical things.View all posts by [E] Sally Lawton →

You’re a genius. This is fab. And I’m smiling.

That you can write something like this, and then have a productive day afterward, is incredible to me.

I would spend hours poring over some ditty about trees and lakes and mountains, but you are working with DRY ASS NEWS MATERIAL and you still come up with something engaging.

How do you not just go take a nap for 6 hours.

Honestly, news in haiku form is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
