Lunchtime Poll Truth or Dare: Lord of the Rings

It’s that time again. Time to challenge yourself with a little truth or a little dare.

Truth: What’s your favorite comfort movie? You know, the one you watch when the day has been le suck and you can’t handle anything too trying. I love a good Lord of the Rings marathon after a rough week.

Dare: See if you can get everyone at work to take a longer-than-usual lunch. Bonus points if you can get your boss to pay for it.

My food groups are cheese, bacon, and hot tea. I like studying cities and playing with my cat, Buffy.

  1. Mean Girls. Every time, Mean Girls. Mean Girls can make birds of death sing and a turd of a day seem like a sparkly diamond.

    Bridesmaids is quickly replacing it, however. My friend phoned me yesterday and I picked up the phone and she went, a propos of nothing;

    “WHAT KIND OF A NAME IS STOVE”.

    sml.

      1. Y’know, just like Mean Girls, I was so meh on Bridesmaids when it came out and over time I have grown to love with my deepest heart. My school’s comedy film society (we have another film society but they only ever watch srsbsns art films) renamed itself “Colonial Women Churning Butter On The Wing”.

  2. Truth: I never get tired of ‘Friends’ but since that’s a TV show and not a movie, I’ll pick ‘Dazed and Confused’ or ‘Clerks’.

    Dare: N/A because I am severely underemployed and I work from home, so my whole day is a lunch break and I’m almost always buying.
