News Appetizers are Mellow

Actually, today’s news is pretty darn positive. Weed is legal in one state, gay marraige is a thing in Washington, DeMint is out, and Apple will be bringing a handful of manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. — this week didn’t suck in terms of news! Read on to learn more and find out if cats kills people.

Apple is going to move limited manufacturing back to the U.S. This is what one calls lip-service: it means nothing and they’re still exploiting Chinese workers. NYTimes

    I only hope that the Tea Party was a flash in the pan. My mother, a dedicated Republican, says they need to be kicked out. I think she’s on to something.

    And Apple was (delightfully) vague about it. “Some things will be moved back.” “We will work with somebody on production.” “Not everything, of course!”

    I think we can call symbolism.
