This Midweek Musical Open Thread Will Always Love You

We’ve made it halfway through the week, Persephoneers.

I’m heading to Texas tomorrow, which means it’s time to share my favorite musical about the state — The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Take it away, Dolly!

[E] HillaryHillary is an avowed nerd and former Mathlete. She once read large swaths of "Why Evolution is True" and a geology book aloud to her infant daughter, in the hopes of a) instilling a love of science in her from a very young age and b) boring her to sleep. After escaping the wilds of Waco, Texas and spending the next decade in NYC, she currently lives in upstate New York, where she misses being able to get decent pizza or Chinese takeout delivered to her house.View all posts by [E] Hillary →

So, this might be a stupid question…I’ve been internet free for awhile, and since the last time I was here the points seem to have disappeared. Are they actually gone, or is it just I can’t find them? I was looking forward to one day being a Donna Noble. :)

So…how might I submit stuff to be published on good ole PMag? Last year I was thinking about it but got freaked and never got around to submitting anything but! It’s a new year! And I would like to do retro recaps for Supernatural?….please?…is that a dumb idea? …omg someone give me validation.

Gaaaaaah…. it does not feel like it’s only Wednesday. I could have sworn it was at least Thursday for most of today. It’s so disappointing.

To make up for it, when I got home from work I made up a new game. It’s called “Eat that Cheese”. And I totally won. Spin-offs include: “Drink that Wine” and “Pet that Kitty”.
    It’s been a banner evening.
