Just because it’s Monday doesn’t mean you should not do something awesome for yourself.
After a long day of meetings and the thought that tomorrow will only be Tuesday, go ahead and treat yourself to a nice glass of wine, or similar indulgent beverage. Maybe hot chocolate for the teetotalers among us?

I’m on such a chocolate kick right now. The only thing keeping me from going to the supermarket and getting about sixteen bars is the sudden snow cramping my food stuffing style.
Went out for a friends birthday dinner tonight and had a delicious espresso martini, however I forgot that I had taken Excedrin before going out and that that plus the martini means even though I should’ve been in bed an hour ago i’m still wide awake with no end in sight. Basically I’m gonna be like this zombie at work tmrw.
(side note:I changed my username from investedinfiction to Nicolette B–I’m still me!)
I took one of my cats to the vet this morning and he got diagnosed with an inflamed trachea and low grade asthma. :( Poor booboo. Uhm, also he was too large (21 lbs) for liquid meds to be effective and had to get an injectable anti inflammatory. He now feels like the size of the cat in the gif.
I’m about to make some chai tea but a nice glass of wine also sounds fantastic.
I can’t wait for today to be over. One of the kittehs is declining and it’s breaking my heart. I’m not sure if I want to eat or drink my feels. Wine and ice cream go together, right?
