In honor of Valentine’s day and the blizzard that might be keeping half the U.S. inside this weekend, we’re throwing a little contest.
Show us your best Valentine’s day nails. Hearts? Cool! Glitter? Also cool! Dripping Buffy stakes? REALLY cool! In other words, paint up your nails any way that makes *you* think of Valentine’s day. When you’re ready, you can either upload a picture in the comments of this thread, or email them to me (selena at persephonemagazine dot com) and I’ll make sure our triple-secret-confidential panel of judges sees them.
The deadline is February 14 at 12:01 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, which is GMT -5. Winners will be announced in the Open Thread on Friday, February 15.
The prize is a (small, sorry) gift certificate to Sephora, so you can buy even more nail polish.

Woo-hoo! V-day nails. I’m obviously not the best at manicures, but I still love painting them. :P

Aww yeah. I might upload a picture once I think of something good, although I don’t think I can be in the contest (not in US). But the challenge will be fun all by itself.
