This time you can nominate for any category, as long as you mark it Adult Literary Fiction, Adult Sci-fi/Fantasy/Dystopia, YA Literary Fiction, and YA Sci-fi, Fantasy, and Dystopia. Next week we’ll narrow down any multi-character nominations from a single author, then we’ll start filling the bracket.
One last time with the nomination guidelines:
- Granny Weatherwax, Jo March, Arya Stark, Elizabeth Bennett, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall, Scout Finch, and Anne Shirley are all ineligible, because they were previously in a final four.
- Only one character per author will make it all the way to the bracket.
- Make sure you mark your nominations with the category they belong in.
See you Monday with the first runoff author races.

Tessa Gray, in the “Clockwork” series by Cassandra Clare. (YA lit)
How about Lady Macbeth (lit)? I always thought she was pretty awesome.
Elizabeth–Jennifer, Hecate, Macbeth, William McKinley, and Me, Elizabeth–E.L. Koningsburg
Forgot to mark the above as YA Lit–hope it’s not too late!
Offred/Narrator – The Handmaid’s Tale – Adult Dystopia
I nominate Juliette Nichols from Wool for Adult SF/F/D.
To clarify, she’d not in the the first book, which is the one named “Wool” and doesn’t become the heroine until the 3rd. So I nominated Juliette Nichols from the Wool series.
Just popping by to say: KATNISS!!!!
