Margaret Thatcher is soon to follow suit.

Margaret Thatcher died earlier this week. Known as the the “Iron Lady” of British politics, the New York Times said Thatcher got her country on a rightward economic course, led it to victory in the Falklands war and helped guide the United States and the Soviet Union through the cold war’s difficult last years. A Lone Star Community College student went on a building-to-building stabbing attack at the Texas community college Tuesday, wounding at least 14 people before being subdued and arrested. (Huffington Post)

Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the U.S. Senate, is said to have weighed using opponent, Ashley Judd’s,  mental health and religion as political ammo. A recording of which was obtained by Mother Jones–McConnell and his aides considered assaulting Judd for her past struggles with depression and for her religious views.(Mother Jones)

Small villages in Iran’s Bushehr province have been devastated by magnitude 6.3 earthquake, killing at least 32 people and injuring 850, but  causing “no damage” to a nuclear power station. (Al Jazeera)
