Lunchtime Poll: Bizarre School Stories?

IT’S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME! Parents are gleefully sending their children back to school and the New York City subways are crowded with school children with their giant backpacks of death and stomach-crushing.

Does anyone have any crazy school or college class stories? Favorite pranks pulled? Was your best social studies class the time you were randomly assigned to be either a KGB or CIA agent when studying the Cold War? (Answer: Yes.)

Here’s my story: In college, I had a professor who kept promising to bring us doughnuts and coffee but always seemed to forget. Finally one day she came in and announced that she forgot yet again, but did have time to stop off at the bank before class. Why do we care that she stopped at the bank, you may be asking. Well, because she got fifty dollar bills, still bound in paper and fresh from the teller. Instructions were to take two and pass it on, so we could buy our own coffee and doughnuts. True story.
