  1. Ooooooh, I would take a belated honeymoon with my shiny new husband and make him hold hands with me and walk on the beach in the moonlight and be those shmoopy newlyweds! And I would try veryvery hard to drink all the local rum. By myself. This is such a great giveawsy, thanks p-mag for setting up the opportunity!

  2. If I won a trip to Puerto Rico, I would love to see their vibrant drag culture in person. Some of the best drag queens seem to come from PR. I would also love to take my wife on a real honeymoon so we could have lots of long walks on the beach. and the food.. such good food.

  3. I was in Puerto Rico for a few days years ago before heading out on a cruise and it was SO amazing. I totally want to go back to El Yunque (I’ve been to the tower in the video!) and see some of the fancier beaches since we only made it to the one by the timeshare a friend let us use. And just keep the fancy run drinks with umbrellas coming!

  4. Puerto Rico is one of the places I have dreamed about visiting. I’ve wanted to experience the rain forest there for years now. I didn’t even know there were bioluminescent bays there, but now I really want to see one. And Old San Juan looks so charming. UGH — I can’t make up my mind!

  5. If I won a trip to Boriken, I would use the opportunity to trace my roots. My grandfather on my dad’s side was from Puerto Rico, but sadly he passed away when was a kid. I would love to know more about my Afro-Latina/Afro-Caribbean heritage. I would also like my roomie to get back there to see zir fam from the island. :)

  6. If I won a trip to Puerto Rico I would do . . . whatever I wanted to – and enjoy every minute of it!

And for one day, at least, I would do nothing. Just me, my Kindle, a glass (or four) of something alcoholic and a lounge chair.

    That’s all I need.

    And this lamp.
