This Weekend Open Thread Needs Brain Bleach

Ugh, MRAs.

I just finished my semester, and for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to do one of my term papers on MRAs. Specifically, on the MRAs who use Reddit, using activity theory. It seemed like a good idea at the time, OK?

Yeah, except I had to read through their posts. Pass the brain bleach, and perhaps some Klonopin.

    1. Doesn’t it make you a little angry when you get a pretty good score on a paper you thought was terrible. I’ve always been like, “If this is what passes for Grade-A material, then I don’t think I want to be part of this anymore.” I wrote a five page paper on Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and subversion of gender roles once that I basically just pulled from my high school thesis of Jane Eyre and Gender Dimorphism. It took me half an hour. I have never been so disappointed in myself or the academic system that gave me a 95.
