Weekly Anime Review

Argevollen, despite being kind of slow, seems to walk toward an interesting ending right now. So does Shingeki no Bahamut and Psycho-Pass, although these two were not slow. Fate/Stay Night continues with exposition this week, but not much action. Sword Art Online almost concluded the Mother Rosario arc, this episode was really sad though.

Argevollen, Ep 23

Samonji and his pets took back the Great Wall without much effort. Iglemias retreated, in fact, they retreated too fast. That’s probably because the Intelligence officer is actually working for the companies that make the Trail Kreigers. So is Cayenne, and he was angry that Samonji didn’t stick to the Great Wall base and decided to pursue the retreating army. All this while, Unit 8 is running after Samonji. Next episode should be interesting. I expect a four-way knockout.

Sword Art Online II, Ep 22

Oh My God! All the Feels.

The truth behind the Sleeping Knight is a tearjerker. They are all terminal patients. Yuuki has had AIDS since birth, her entire family had already died from the disease in the last few years.

Kirito of course, knew how to find Yuuki, which resulted in many tears and cries from Asuna. I can already tell that Kirito is going to allow Yuuki to go to school too, that’s her “last wish.”

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, Ep 9

The King made his move against Jeanne. Rita might be able to save her, she is the only one of the gang still in the city. Lavalley sent Kaiser after Amira and Favaro and their separation was rather short.

They also stumbled into another realm of existence and they learned a few things that we already knew: Amira will probably cause the end of the world. The elder dragon that lived in that pocket universe also told Favaro to kill Amira. I don’t think that’s going to happen though.

Not Bahamut
Not Bahamut, I actually don’t know his name…

Now Jeanne needs to join the group, along with Rita, for max awesomeness.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Ep 9

Lots of talking in this episode.

Rin and Shirou want to find the master of Caster and expect him/her to not know that they are masters. That’s going to be hard.

Shinji went for the Church and Kirei is probably going to give him another servant. Seems like the Church Father isn’t really a good guy, Shinji hates Rin and Shirou, despite them not being responsible for what happened to him. He is a total lunatic.

Some hints about the future in this episode.

Psycho-Pass 2, Ep 10

Akane is a much better inspector than Mika. She connected everything together with just a little comment about the Togane foundation creating Kirito.

Mika is probably good for the Asylum though. Girl is way too stressed. Akane is as clear as ever, despite being kind of crazy. Kougami hallucinations FTW! She decided to help Kirito too, so Togane is happy about it.

Togane's CC level
Togane sure like his color black

Akane also gave Sibyl the Omnipotent paradox and they are kind of screwed to accept her proposal. They have to judge Kirito as a collective and thus judge themselves as a collective to keep their perfection. Their ego must be taking a hit there…
