Lunchtime Poll: Do You Stick Q-tips (or other items smaller than your elbow) In Your Ear?

In spite of all the warnings drilled into me since I was a wee MacIntosh, I swab out my ear canals like a rebel, after every single shower.

Persephoneers, I know I’m not alone. It’s time to fess up in the comments. Who among us laughs in the face of the warnings on the box of cotton swabs?

  1. Yiss! I don’t use q-tips much, but I use earplugs every night (they saved my marriage, I’ve got insomnia and ADHD – can’t shut down my brain at night without complete silence). The foam kind that you stick in your ear. I’ve even stuck tweezers in there to pull out earplugs that I’ve stuck in too far.

    I’m a rebel.
