Contribute to Persephone! We’re always looking for new voices to share, and there are lots of ways you can participate. You retain all rights to any content you produce for Persephone Magazine.
- Perspectives – These are personal essays about a particular moment or event in your life and how it affected you. All names will be changed, and we may edit some details if we think they give away too much personal information about the writer/subjects. Perspectives essay writers may request that comments be turned off when/if their essays are published.
- How to Do Everything – Can you do something better than everyone else? Do you have a hidden talent or skill? Have you mastered a skill you think everyone should know how to do? Write us and tell us all about it! Include lots of photos and detailed, step by step instructions and share your passions with the rest of us.
- Generation X-X – Were you born in the forgotten generation between 1962-1982? We so want to hear from you.
- We Try It! – Try something new, weird or noteworthy? Read a fantastic book or waste $12 and two hours on a horrible movie? Play the most incredible video game ever made for so long you dreamt about it? Write a review for Persephone. We rate on a five-point scale, with one being worthless and five being the most awesome.
- Be a staff writer – At this point in time, we only pay in praise and experience, but if you’d like to be a regular contributor to Persephone, please send us 3-5 samples of your very best writing, a link to somewhere you’ve contributed online and a brief essay on your writing style. If we like what we see, we’ll give you a test run.
