• How did I miss this post? I totally made this song my ringtone and it cracks me up every time.

  • I’ve been a big fan of Emilia Clarke in this role from Day 1. I feel like the show is generally pretty well cast, and I think Dany comes across on the screen very much like I’d expect from the books.

  • Selena’s doing some tinkering under the hood. Looks good to me so far!

  • Oooh… I just logged on and got a fancy-schmancy new look. Is everyone else getting it as well?

  • Does anyone else not understand all the hate for Emilia Clarke’s performance? I think she does a fantastic job of playing someone who is used to hiding her feelings. I don’t think it is a case of justifying an […]

  • I completely agree. We already knew Joffrey was a sexual sadist — the scene with Ros added nothing. (In fact, I had planned to walk away after that, but didn’t because there are a few storylines I’m enjoying.) […]

  • I loved this so much. It was beautiful, layered, suspenseful and sexy.

  • Oh jeebus. I’m on episode 15 right now. Looks like my entire Sunday will be devoted to Supernatural. Which I’m so ok with.

  • Like you, I never read a Coelho. I have had The Alchemist on my list for a long time but I’m not really ..motivated to get into the world of Coelho. I guess I need to find one of his books with a summary that speaks to me.

  • A couple of years ago I started trying on clothes I liked but thought ‘weren’t for me’. Or clothes I wrinkled my nose at, but thought that it’s never bad to extend your view. It didn’t bring much change to my […]

  • Darn, wow. Sounds like a great thing to bond over. My parents only send the home front video tapes full of daily life and me and my brother growing up. A little bit easier and cheaper when it comes to transport, I guess.

  • For the past seven years I’ve worked the Saturday (morning). It will be so weird whenever that will change.

  • Prizes!

I sorta kinda forgot all about this and b) had my social life take away from my work out time. Only cocktail-throwing back muscles were used.

  • SlayBelle’s husband here. Funny story about the bisou…I am in Pakistan now and have been since last year (this is an important detail). Last month my university awarded me a grant to do some archival research […]

  • Hmm. Spy novels? I’ll have to do some thinking back. I admit, it’s been some time since I’ve probably read a spy novel. Lots of funny and lighthearted stuff though. I eat it up. Have you read the Hitchhiker’s […]

  • Oh. The Gemma Doyle books. You finish those and I would love to have a nice discussion on them. I read those in middle school with my two best reader friends at the time. Emotional reactions abound. What other YA […]

  • Oh my gosh. Don’t even talk to me about the iPhone text method. See, I’m all android, including my tablet, and they use Swype, where you drag your finger across the keypad and to the letters in the words you want […]

  • Ah well, that does make me feel better. I don’t understand 26, since like, you hopefully would have gotten out of the house more and I feel like you would just…there are commercials with Beatles songs. And the […]

  • Yes, exactly! Especially when you know that you can make them happy. Like, you’ve figured out a way for a specific person to make them happy. That’s good stuff.

  • To me, his saying “I’ll bother you the whole way out, no one will know” seems an acknowledgement of his typical office behavior and an admission that what he’s doing for Joan isn’t that.
