So Accel World leaves us for a while, until a possible season 2. Episode 24 was the last episode of this season. Sword Art Online had a nice, emotional ending for their mid-season episode as well. Eureka Seven AO used a strange time to make a Elena-focused episode, though. Really I think they have one or two episodes left and I really don’t know where this is going. Rushed ending indeed. We are coming closer and closer to the fall season and there are three shows I really want to watch: Jormungand Perfect Order (a “sequel” to the winter season show), ShinSekai Yori (From a new World in English, it’s a novel adaptation that explores four teenaged girls, exiled from their home when they discover some truth about the world past) and Psycho-Pass (cyberpunk cop show with the usually shady conspiracies from the little I gathered. The title comes from a psychological test that defines an individual’s level of criminality). As you can see I can’t wait for the fall season. I guess I’m ready to watch something else. Beside this, Eureka Seven comes closer and closer to a rushed ending. Accel World will probably end with a big fight with all of Nega Nebulous against two guys (so unfair) and Sword Art Online will continue because, well, we haven’t advanced the plot much beside Asuna/Kirito.
The summer season is almost over. Eureka Seven has three episodes left from what I read online, this means a rushed ending! Accel World probably has less than that, I suspect it will end with the Dusk Taker arc, so one or two episodes. Not sure about Sword Art Online, it was once rumored to be split court, but it might not be. This mean I will probably have Sword Art Online and, at least, Jormungand season 2 for the fall season of animes. I can’t really watch more than three shows per week either, but there seems to be lots of interesting stuff this fall. Read More Weekly Anime Review
I’m starting to end the fall season now, there are about four episodes left for all the shows, and they all currently seem to go “nowhere.” Sword Art Online continues the “romantic” adventures of Kirito and Asuna. Accel World got some more Incarnation System and undercover investigation, but no new information. Finally, Eureka Seven Ao episode is at a stalemate in the story. We just got back to the previous episode’s status quo. Read More Weekly Anime Review
So I took a little break from playing Guild Wars 2 to watch my weekly anime! Accel World brings back the “Gang” against Dusk Taker, Sword Art Online has some bonding between Kirito and Asuna, and Eureka Seven AO is still mindfracking as usual, more so with all the new information in this episode. But it’s in a good way. Read More Weekly Anime Review
Eureka Seven AO is back to finish the cliffhanger from three weeks ago. Beside this, we have the conclusion to another two-parter in Accel World (with some underwater fighting!) and sort of a love episode in Sword Art Online. I still feel sorry for Lizbeth. Also, in about a month, the Fall season of anime will start. Currently, I will sure to be watching Jormungand season 2. There also seems to be a few interesting animes coming over, including one that isn’t based on a novel/manga/game, called K. Read More Weekly Anime Review
The Olympics are over, this means next week I will be back to three shows. Eureka Seven will restart broadcasting. Besides this, we have Accel World with a “side story” that involves Princess Snow Black in her Okinawa vacations. We also have Part Two of the murder case in Sword Art Online. So in this Olympic week, I only have two animes to watch. Eureka is off the air until the Games are over. Accel World had a rather good episode, which makes me hate Noumi more and more, while Sword Art Online has the start of a murder investigation arc. Not as fun to watch as Accel World, but still not a bad episode either. Read More Weekly Anime Review
