This season of Hannibal is going to be more disgusting and more dark than the last. Eating food while watching this show is at the risk of your own stomach. The darker it gets, the more intriguing it becomes as Bryan Fuller pulls the audience into Will’s and Hannibal’s descents into madness. Hannibal is not a show for everybody; it takes a particularly morbid person to love this show. I love this show. Bryan Fuller makes such beautiful shows. Hannibal is beautiful, but the darkest beauty one has ever known. I am over the moon that it is back on after teetering on the edge of one and done great shows like Firefly. NBC recently debuted a new series called Hannibal, based on the character of Thomas Harris’s novels. The series seems to take place even before the first novel, Red Dragon, but features many characters who are part of that storyline. Two of these characters were men on the page, but are women on the TV show.
