As someone who has spent the past eighteen years studying the career trajectory of Oasis and the post-breakup albums of the band members, and as someone who is hopelessly indulgent when it comes to the arrogance of Noel Gallagher, it is through these filters that I read Alex Niven’s contribution to the 33 1/3 book series, his examination of Oasis’ 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe.
