Record Machine: Follow The Lights by Ryan Adams and The Cardinals

Though Ryan Adams, with or without The Cardinals, is one of my favorite musicians, I’m still working my way towards owning his entire catalog. The man is prolific, and I don’t have the disposable income that I once had. So when I stumbled upon the vinyl version of 2007’s Follow The Lights for seven dollars, I needed to finally buy it.

Record Machine: Absolute Beginners/Funeral Pyre by The Jam

This EP is more officially called The Jam, but it is record company Polydor putting two different singles and their B-sides together in one volume. Neither “Absolute Beginners” nor “Funeral Pyre” appear on any of The Jam’s studio albums, but both songs charted at #4 on the UK Singles Chart. The Jam, as an EP, made it to #176 on the Billboard 200.
