I can’t tell you how glad I am that it’s spring, but the weather here in Michigan just can’t seem to make up its mind. Here are some songs that are tiding me over until spring decides to officially arrive. Read More Ten Songs Keeping Me Sane This Week: Spring Edition

High Fives: Sara Habein

I had the pleasure to discuss music with one of my favorite people in the world, our own Sara Habein. We know how much I love lists and rankings, and it seems that having a discussion about music and adding rankings to things is right up my alley. I had so much fun having a little back and forth with Sara.  Read More High Fives: Sara Habein

Pioneers, Playing Dress-Up, And Katy Perry

When I was in the third grade, our school hosted a Famous Pioneer Day. I’m guessing on the name; I actually don’t remember the name of that costume-themed day, but nonetheless it was a day to recognize the early American (white) pioneers. This Week in Misogyny Goes Hulksmash!

I wish I were here to bring you good news, but that’s in short supply this week. What I’ve got instead is abortion bullshit, rape apology/victim-blaming, more things that feminism has ruined, a Nice Guyâ„¢, and the woman who wants to feed him to sharks. Actually, that last story kinda made my day. (As usual, trigger warnings for pretty much everything apply.) Read More This Week in Misogyny Goes Hulksmash!
