A Queer Trans Person’s Holiday Experience

I used to love the holidays. Christmas was my second favorite celebration next to my birthday. I enjoyed getting together with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. My parents and I would make the trek to my grandparents’ farm around the 20th or 21st and we would stay through the 28th or so. We’ve also got updates on the misogyny of the Emmys, lots of terrible people, some disheartening studies (the one about Fifty Shades readers was particularly interesting, though not terribly surprising), and so much more. (As usual, trigger warnings for pretty much everything apply.) Read More This Week in Misogyny: Awards Show Edition

It’s Back: The Bathroom Meme

What’s back, you may ask, dear P-Mag reader? The shittiness that is the bathroom meme. Oh, but Alyson, what is the bathroom meme? Well, dear reader, it is a repeated belief statement that trans people should not be allowed to use the correct restroom. Why would someone want that, Alyson?
