Weekly Anime Review

One more week before the end of the fall season. Anime runs all the time; I think the only time when they are “off” is when there’s a special sports event and in the Gold Week of March. Anyhow. Sword Art Online ended with a final episode. Not much to say here, happy ending and all that. Shin Sekai Yori and Psycho-Pass are becoming more and more awesome and I’m quite happy that they’ll continue for the winter season. K is ending next week and I’m unsure about Jormungand. It has one more episode I guess, but the story is far from over. Read More Weekly Anime Review

We are coming closer to the end of the Fall season. I haven’t found a lot of interesting new shows for winter. At least, Chihayafuru‘s second season is coming, yes for more crazy memory card game. All the other shows seem to be fan service, though. Beside this, Sword Art Online is almost over, one episode left. Shin Sekai Yori will continue on in the winter and it’s the best thing around right now. Psycho-Pass is also continuing on, the second best show I’m watching. K and Jormungand are almost done. K feesl a bit rushed though, but it was expected. As for Jormungand, after the end of this episode I’m not too sure where this is going. Read More Weekly Anime Preview

Not many episodes left until the fall season is over. Shin Sekai Yori and Psycho-pass will continue for the winter season, so I don’t expect that much for the next two episodes. But K is ending and this episode was full build-up for the finale (which is going to be rushed in a way). I’m not sure about Jormungand, the plot is approaching a climax with Koko’s plot but I have no idea what it is. In other word, this week’s episodes were mostly there for exposition. So lots of blah-blah and not much action beside Sword Art Online. Read More Weekly Anime Review

I guess this week’s theme was drama! Sugu finally learns who Kirito is in Sword Art Online. Saki wants Shun back in Shin Sekai Yori. K brings a lot of flashbacks. Psycho-Pass brings the last case to an inconclusive ending. Jormungand doesn’t really have drama and it mostly features teasing about Koko’s plan. Read More Weekly Anime Review

Awesome week in terms of anime. K brings up a few more questions. Psycho-Pass is simply horrific. Shin Sekai Yori starts a new arc that will probably impact your little group deeply and Jormungand brings us lots of explosions. Sword Art Online was the low event of the week.

Woah, the season is going by fast. We’re already at the halfway point. Sword Art Online continues with a bit of fighting and not much plot advancement. Unless Sugu having a heart attack when she learns Kirito is her brother is plot advancement. Shin Sekai Yori gets a time jump next episode. Psycho-Pass and K plots seems to be in full steam now. Finally, Jormungand‘s arc on Togo is completed with a twist and he doesn’t die. Also, lots of white-haired pretty boys this week. Read More Weekly Anime Review

Another great week. I guess all of the anime are finding their footing now and the “introduction” phase is over. Sword Art Online, Shin Sekai Yori  and Jormungand get into some action. K now seems to have a plot with some intrigue and Psycho-pass shows that there are real detectives in that future. Read More Weekly Anime Review

Not a bad week in terms of storylines. Strangely, I think there was more fanservice in Sword Art Online than in K this week. Shin Sekai Yori‘s episode is mostly about the Monster Rats. Jormungand is the start of a new arc and rather slow. Finally, Psycho-Pass is totally awesome this week. Virtual avatars and web popularity are interesting themes. Read More Weekly Anime Review
