Middlemarch Madness: Sweet Sixteen Final Vote

It was another record setting night for votes, and both races were so close I didn’t know who was going to win until the last possible minute.  Tonight we’ll vote in the final Sweet Sixteen battle, then tomorrow at this time I’ll reveal the Elite Eight. Middlemarch Madness: Sweet Sixteen Voting, Day One

Welcome back! It’s Monday, and we’re about to embark on a week of really harsh decisions.  To make the pain of having to pick a little less, we’ll only be voting on two pairs each day this week, with the Elite Eight revealed on Friday.  Next week, we’ll create the Final Four on Monday and Tuesday, vote on the two Final Four pairs on Wednesday and we’ll have our final, GRAND CHAMPION OF ALL THE LADYHEROES vote on Thursday.

This means the winner will be declared on April 1, and I promise whatever our plans may be for April Fool’s Day, we won’t fuck with Middlemarch.

Here’s a link to the most recent Middlemarch Bracket, in case you need it.

Middlemarch Madness Voting Day 7: Twos v. Fifteens

I’m beginning to see links back to Middlemarch all over the web, and it makes me geeky little heart grow three sizes.  Bookish, clever women for the win!  We’re back to vote in the second to last round of the preliminaries, tonight it’s the two seats v. the fifteen seats.  Last night’s results are also in, and there was another upset!  Hold tight, and click on. Middlemarch Madness Voting Day 6: Threes v. Fourteens

Last night was another record setter for votes, with many of you coming out to speak for your favorite lady heroines.  I’m not sure there will be any surprises in the results, but I’d like the Pratchett fans to go ahead and sit down or get a bowl of comfort pudding or the like.  Read More Middlemarch Madness Voting Day 6: Threes v.
