I Love the Smell of WordPress in the Morning

Good morning!  How is everyone on this fine Wednesday morning?  We have some great stories planned to keep you entertained/distracted during hump day.  Our Gaming writer, Jordan Shea, has a great piece on male vs. female characters in video games.  Selena will be writing a Gleecap and continuing her piece on Focus on the Family.  We’re tickled to bring you the first piece by The Frisky Feminist, our brand new sex advice column written by a couple.  We have a few surprises in store for you, too.

Keep the feedback coming, readers, we love hearing from you and we love your input as we stumble around and try to figure out what the heck we’re doing.  Like yesterday, we’ll be posting every hour or so from now until quittin’ time EST.

Some technical notes: I’ll be fixing the fonts, by which I mean switching back to traditional fonts.  I love the idea of @font-face, the new CSS trick which allows website owners to use fancy fonts, but finding a font that looks great in every browser is trickier than it looks.   All hail Helvetica and Arial, for they render the same no matter what.    If there’s a break in my editorial duties during the day, it’ll be hooked up by tonight.

Here’s your morning picker-upper:

Let’s have a kickass day together, shall we?
