Persephone Magazine: Behind the Music

It’s a glorious Tuesday morning, friends and neighbors.  Grab your coffee and settle in for another day of ladybloggers gone wild.  I hesitate to tell you what’s on tap, as that usually means at least one thing I mention won’t make it to the front page before quitting time.

I’m positive we have a post on making crusty delicious bread from scratch from Jordan, our game guru who’s full of surprise skills.  Selena wrote a review of Civilization V that’s ready to go as well.  New writer Spicy Armadillo will be making her debut with a fantastic post on internet memes past and present.  We’re very excited to have her on board.  I’m also delighted to introduce our newest contributor, Miz Jenkins, who will be jumping in as soon as we get her hooked up behind the scenes.

I’ve been trying to type up a post about how Persephone Magazine came to be, but it gets a little too navel gazey and gushy in print, so I drew you a picture with my mouse.

Don’t forget the banner contest, send your entries to me, opheliapayne@persephonemagazine.com, by October 31.

The Frisky Feminist is eagerly watching her inbox at friskyfeminist@persephonemagazine.com and Luci and her mom are eager to help you tackle your non-frisky questions at lucifurious@persephonemagazine.com.

Something a little different for the morning tunes today, cheeky Brits KLF covering the Doctor Who theme.

Now go kick Tuesday’s ass!
