We Heart Our Readers

Wrapping up day two of Persephone, I’m struck by several things.  1.  I have a ton of respect for people who do this for a living and 2. Our readers rock my world.   As of 4:30 this morning, when your editor started her day, Google Analytics clocked 600+ unique visitors.  Most of you wandered in from Jezebel, STFU Jezzies and Facebook.  A couple of you found us through a Google search and we had a lot of visitors from StumbleUpon.  (Thanks to whomever Stumbled us!)

We picked up a bunch of new writers today, as well.  Please join me in giving paperispatient, Future Mr. paperispatient, Hattie McDoogal, Jordan Shea, BaseballChica03 and Verdalliance a very warm Persephone welcome.  We’d also like to thank the author of today’s Perspectives post for submitting.

So life is good in Persephone-land.  And we owe it all to you guys.

Huzzah! Future Mr. and I are just finishing up our first post, and I’ve already realized what hard work a whole blog must be if one post is taking us this long to perfect. I’m so excited to be a part of this.
