Deep in the throes of winter (remember last week, when every state but Florida had snow on the ground?) it may seem hard to believe, but the hours of sunshine are lengthening each day.
Don’t believe me? It’s true. I read it on SunriseSunset.com (insert Fiddler on the Roof montage here). At the beginning of the new year, a mere 17 days ago, Chicago had only 9 hrs and 11mins between sunrise and sunset. Today? 9 hrs and 32 mins. Word. Click on the word “calendar” for any city listed and you can see the days lengthening, a few minutes at a time.
