Get Your Chat On In This Open Thread

As we are encountering a glut of open threads, we’ve decided to consolidate the nightly open thread with the morning open thread, because replacing one open thread with another is (like the Oxford comma!) a little redundant.  (Copyeditor’s note: It. Is. On. -PoM) So in the morning if you want to chat, jump back in here until we get things rolling with the Daily Goodie, now playing at 11:30 AM.

Plus, we’re going to run out of Erasure songs a lot later if we do these open threads less frequently.  Speaking of! Let’s get this thread started!

Today’s roller-coaster, as of 8:00am:
1. Heinous dream involving, no shit, all my ex’s and one evil ex friend.
2. I will be signing my loan agreement for the house in a matter of minutes and fed-exing them.
3. SNOW!!
4. …snow…

…and the cart keeps moving. If I puke, will it stop and let me off?

The ruller-coaster continues:

Big meeting here
Closed dept there (staff relocated to diff dept, no worries)
Oh, and can we close on the 10th instead of the 18th?

Gah, this is NOT the day to drink caffeine. I could power a small city with my energy levels right now.

In a fight of wits between bunnies and dogs, I would tip the bunnies to win. Bunnies are cunning, and loyal to no-one, like cats but quieter.

I will admit that much as I love my bunny, a dog would probably be a more satisfying pet. Bunny doesn’t talk much, or snuggle. These things are beneath him :(

I go to bed early with a migraine, and wake up to all these new Team Oxford Comma recruits? Spectacular. Come to the dark side; we have clarity. And T-shirts. Well, we don’t have T-shirts yet, but we could.

Haters to the left.

(Speaking of Oxford commas and generally being pedantic about grammar, did everyone read my article? They don’t let me out of my copyediting cage to write very often, so I need all the encouragement I can get! Don’t worry too much about me, though; the copyediting cage has lots of coffee.)
