Another week has come and gone here at Persephone. Welcome to the cushy comforts of the open thread, where we’re all friends, all your jokes are witty, and your hair always looks really, really great. Totally.

Myself, I’ll be spending this fine Friday evening baking. There’s a family party this weekend and I’m the go-to gal for sugary treats. In addition to a bunny-shaped French Vanilla cake for a lucky 1-year old, I’m also going to be making Early Grey chocolate cupcakes with honey lemon buttercream. Awesome.

I am in dire need of a haircut – my ends are super dry. Just for the heck of it, I worked some Badger Balm into it, and now it feels amazing. Had to share.
