I got out of bed and shredded again. It’s getting to feel a bit like Groundhog Day around here, except that I find myself really liking level 3, so I don’t mind.
It’s true- I am keeping up more than I ever have before, and that section on circuit two, where you do all of the level 1 cardio moves with weights? Yeah, I can do that. I can do jumping jacks with a 5 lb. weight in each hand. I’ll spare you a YouTube presentation of it, but it’s all true. I am loving this feeling of strength.
I walked eight miles with friends on Saturday. Don’t be too impressed because we stopped halfway for a big breakfast. But the outing was not only good for my body, it was good for my soul, so I’m not knocking it. How did your weekend workouts go?

I just got back from a week+ vacation, where all I did was eat and lay in the sun. The most exercise I got was walking to the beach, or treading water in the pool. And I ate constantly. It was delicious, but I am now trying to get back into my routine. I got back exhausted on Sunday night and slept in the last 2 mornings, but I plan to hit the gym tonight.
I ran Friday and Sunday but I also ate like six cupcakes and drank more than I have in the past year, so probably that wasn’t THAT helpful. Hopefully tonight I can do some strolling around the neighborhood!
Hey, keep moving is the name of the game– if you happen to walk with cupcakes and some wine, so be it. Think about how ick it would be with the running you did!
I shredded on Saturday and Sunday, and walked to and from the gym on Sunday. I didn’t actually work out there, because I’m chicken and the guy at the front desk scared me with his incompetence, but hey, I signed up!
Totally took a day off today (public holiday here) and gave my quads some time to heal. They deserve it.
woot! Signing up is half the battle. It will be fun!
Oh P.S. I wanted to say…you’ve come a long way from the modified jumping jack!
I was thinking that myself this morning. My knees don’t hurt like they used to. Huh.
I walked a couple miles each day Sat and Sunday, but honestly that’s not much of a work out for me and both days I stopped and got food…sooo..
I am really falling off the exercise wagon in a big way, which is terrible since I work at a gym.
