Lunchtime Poll

LTP: 8/22/11

Good Monday afternoon, dearest readers. Another weekend has flown by in a blink, leaving us smack dab in the middle of yet another Monday. I hope this week is full of potentially wonderful adventures for all of us Persephoneers, because I think we’re all overdue for potentially wonderful adventures. But first, how about taking a moment to answer an LTP?

The fall TV season is starting up in a few weeks (and, ahem, we only have to wait FIVE MORE DAYS for new Doctor Who!) and the network schedules are jam packed full of new stuff to watch.  What new shows are you planning on checking out, and which ones have you already decided are going to be crap?

the trailers have made me pretty pumped for The New Girl. if it sticks I feel like I will identify even more with ZD’s character than I currently do with Liz Lemon. which may not be a bad thing?
I really, really want The Ringer to be amazing, and Grimm could have potential? Maybe it’s wishful thinking.

I agree! I think The New Girl looks really cute, and I think Zooey has great comedy chops. It’s the one show I know for sure I’m going to Tivo. Otherwise, I’m more excited about the shows they’re going to be playing on BBC America on Wednesday’s Dramaville than anything I’ve seen advertised on American TV. (There can never be too much Idris Elba. Ever.)
