Happy Thursday! Today’s lunchtime poll is about lunch.

I’m talking pizza– what kind of crust, what kind of toppings? NY style? Chicago deep dish?

I like a medium crust – not so thin that it’s like a cracker, but not so doughy that most of the bite I take is just bread.

I like a good veggie pizza – lots of green peppers and red onions, I’m not a huge fan of mushrooms but a couple on a slice isn’t too bad.

though I do have a soft spot in my heart for the Spicy Perogy pizza at Boston Pizza. it’s got their Cactus Cut Potatoes (basically really spicy homemade potato chips), cheddar, green onion, sour cream, and it comes with the most amazing spicy dip of all time. oh now I want a slice.

I like a medium crust – not so thin that it’s like a cracker, but not so doughy that most of the bite I take is just bread. My very favorite toppings are mushrooms and black and green olives, but I love “nontraditional” toppings – I had a red skin potato pizza for my birthday dinner, and it was MAGICAL (thinly sliced seasoned taters, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, chives, sour cream, and spicy ranch on a garlic and olive oil base). And avocado on pizza is just delish.

Pillsbury pizza crust ’cause I’m too lazy to make my own and it’s pretty good for store bought.

Ground mild Italian sausage browned with fresh garlic
Onions
Mushrooms
Med – heavy on the red sauce (I like to use Classico Pasta Sauce Garlic & Onions)
Fresh Mozzarella cheese slices on bottom
shreaded mozzarella, asiago, parmesan and romano cheese on top
Italian seasonings sprinkled over the whole thing

Popped in the oven long enough to melt the cheese
