There are some pretty classic commercial jingles out there, and once you start singing them, your friends will probably chime-in. Try it today, starting out with something like “Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce…” and see what happens. You’re singing the rest right now! But that’s not my favorite jingle, and for today’s LTP, I want to know yours.Currently, I have a soft spot for the Safelite jingle. It barely counts as a jingle, and that’s why I love it so much. Someone really phoned that one in and then tried to pass it off as an actual song. If you’re not familiar, Safelite is a windshield repair company. Their jingle is, “Safelite repair, Safelite replace,” said by a woman in a sing-songy way. That’s it. It doesn’t even make any sense, grammatically. And I can’t help it, I just love it so much. Now they’re stuck with it! Because some Donald Draper had too many whiskeys and was like, “eh thish will do.”
So what about you, friends. What’s your favorite jingle?

There’s a local company whose jingle is always on the radio.
That damn song gets in your head and NEVER LEAVES!

I have had the Empire carpet jingle stuck in my head for the past few days.
800-588-2300 Empiiiiire!
ooo, there is a very similar one here for Autoglass, I think.
Jingles are very time- and place-specific. None of the ones here mean anything to me, and my mom often sings ones that mean nothing to me too.
the one I remember most is “Johnston, Mooney, and O’Brien, for your favourite fresh-baked bread!”
The old Goldfish crackers one – “I love the fishes cause they’re so delicious!” etc.
