Send Us Your Sexy-Sex Questions and Suggestions!

Our favorite part of writing this column is responding to questions and suggestions from our fellow Persephoneers. And the thing about sex questions is this: if you’re wondering it, chances are that a few other people are wondering it, too, and your question probably touches on some broader topics or ideas that are important and interesting.

We love responding to specific questions or general suggestions for post topics, and we’ve also been wanting to write more of our Sexual Mythbusters series, which addresses common sex-related myths and misconceptions and assesses their accuracy. The only time we won’t respond to a question or suggestion in a post is if we feel like we lack the knowledge and/or experience to respond in an informative, accurate, and sensitive way. (We’ve only done this once.)

You can get in touch with us lots of different ways!

  • You can e-mail us at friskyfeminist@persephonemagazine.com – we personally prefer this approach because then we can let you know we received your question and when we’ll be able to answer it, but we understand that some people prefer to be completely anonymous (though rest assured, even when question-askers tell us it’s okay to include their name/info, we don’t disclose it).
  • You can send us a message via Tumblr through either the “ask” or “submit” buttons. Tumblr has been tightening its restrictions on messages, though, so if your question is somewhat lengthy, it may make you break it up into multiple submissions, but we can deal with that. The “ask” option will let you be completely anonymous.
  • You can comment on one of our posts with a question or suggestion. We try to always read all the comments we get, because if you’re taking the time to read and respond to our posts, we appreciate it! This is the only time we include your name in the column, to give you credit for giving us the idea for the post. However, if you’d prefer we leave you out of it, that’s completely fine, too.

We’ve gotten some fantastic questions since we first started writing this column and in the past few weeks especially, and we’d like to keep that ball (heh) rolling. Ask away, Persephoneers!

As a thank you for reading a post that was probably a tad duller than our usual fare, here is a picture of some adorable dogs in raincoats:
