Lunchtime Poll

LTP: 10/10/11

Welcome to another Monday, dear Persephoneers! It’s time once again for the lunchtime poll, where we ask you questions so you can procrastinate for a few minutes.

What skill/talent/hobby do you wish you’d learned how to do, but haven’t got around to yet?

For me, it’s playing chess and cooking fancy food.  I know the general rules of chess, and I’ve made one or two difficult recipes that turned out edible (out of many that didn’t) but I’ve always wished I spent more time learning each skill.

I took violin lessons pretty consistently for about ten years (and piano, but I less in to that). I loved it, but was never especially good. I kind of wonder what would have happened if I had pursued it more seriously and improved beyond the second violin section in high school orchestra.

Also, I never even bothered with any kind of sport. I regret that a little bit, but I also know it probably would have been disastrous.
