It’s Monday, so that means it’s my turn at the LTP wheel. I made it an easy one, because Monday already requires enough deep thoughts and hard choices.
What’s your favorite comfort food?
I don’t think I’ve met a comfort food I don’t like, unless it’s full of mushrooms. Mac and cheese, warm bread, hot cocoa, mashed potatoes and homemade soup are all on the top of my list, how about yours?

Hamburger casserole. Â It’s a recipe from the 1969 McCall’s cookbook and I have never met anyone who doesn’t like it. Â I keep trying to do a food post about it, but I get so excited every time I make it that, by the time I remember to get my camera, there’s nothing left to photograph but empty casserole dishes.
Oh, man, my mom used to make that stuff all the time when I was younger. I haven’t had any in years. It is SO DELICIOUS. I can practically hear my arteries clog as I eat it, but what’s not to like about a big pile of meat and cheese and crusty goodness?
