Readers, why is this month speeding by so quickly? I wanted to make some sort of a craft project for Halloween, but have yet to be struck by inspiration. And at this rate, by the time I get to the store to get supplies, Halloween will have come and gone! Right now my fall decor is limited to three mini pumpkins. It’s not as festive as I had planned.
So what about you, friends? Do you have Halloween decorations up yet? Do you plan on it? Are you the creepiest, funnest, most Martha Stewart house on the block? Or, like me, do you just have three sad little pumpkins sitting on coasters? Let us know in today’s LTP!

I think I’m the only person I know who doesn’t do ANY seasonal decorating. I feel like it’s a slippery slope, and I kind of don’t like tchotchkes in general. I do love Halloween, but the dressing up and candy parts, not the pumpkins so much.

I feel like halloween/thanksgiving and the various signs of natural decay that surround them as evidence of the seasons changing etc. stand my witchy little home in good stead year round, so when I say I’m decorating for halloween, I really just mean hi, welcome to my house.
My Halloween decorations are more dream than reality :(
The office I manage is totally decked out for Halloween – pumpkins, candy, fake spider webbing, autumn leaves. It’s tasteful, but definitely ready for the season.
My home has a lot of REAL spiderwebs growing all over the windows and door (on the outside) and one pumpkin at the end of the dining room table that I MEANT to turn into a decoration, but… y’know…
I’ve been lazy.
