Paid Campaign Intern

The full-time intern will be trained by experienced staff to become proficient in and to perform important tasks related to the campaign’s finance operation. This is a full-fledged on-the-job training position that can lead to promotional opportunities with increasing responsibilities following successful completion of the 4-month internship and performance review.

Fund Developer

The mission of the Farmer-Veteran Coalition is to mobilize veterans to feed America. We cultivate a new generation of farmers and food leaders, and develop viable employment and meaningful careers through the collaboration of the farming and military communities.

IT Associate

The person hired will serve as level 2 support for computer(s), database(s), and general information technology operations. The work involves daily help desk ticket as well as administrative tasks related to computer operations, phone system, databases, and other peripherals. The job requires familiarity with the concepts, techniques, and practices of information technology as it applies to the operation of multiple computers in a network (LAN/WAN) environment.

Fellowship Opportunity

MFY is seeking fellowship proposals that complement or enhance MFY’s existing work in the areas of landlord-tenant law, foreclosure, consumer law, disability rights, workers rights, the rights of the elderly, public benefits and family law. Fellowship proposals may also address legal and/or policy responses to emerging areas of legal need in our existing practice areas or in related areas. In particular, we are seeking proposals addressing issues around three-quarter houses, foreclosure or health law matters.

Bargain Boutique Coordinator

Responsible for the organization, flow, and sales of the donations into the Bargain Boutique. This includes but is not limited to sorting, organization of the backroom, sales floor, warehouse duties, and purchasing supplies.

Choir Director

Serving approximately 2,500 students, the Choir offers choral programs in over 50 Chicago public elementary and middle schools. In many cases, the Choir’s program is the only arts education offered to students within the school. Most schools hire the Choir to provide instruction for one or two choirs, one or two times per week. The Choir’s Program Director works with the conductor to set the schedule.

Education Programs Coordinator

Under the supervision of the AMC North Country Youth Programming Director, this multi-faceted position will manage and develop AMC’s Teen Wilderness Adventures program, coordinate education outreach efforts in communities local to Pinkham Notch and the Highland Center through the Community Partnerships for Youth program, and assist A Mountain Classroom Program Coordinators with program administration and logistics.

Digital and Social Media Associate

The Digital and Social Media Associate will work hand-in-hand with the Associate Web Developer, Director of Communications, and Web Editor/Director of New Media as part of a broad team of digital, marketing, communications, and editorial senior staff members.

Gardener 

The part-time Gardener’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the maintenance of three enclosed gardens as well as an orchard and wildflower meadow, performing tasks on the outside grounds not undertaken by the contractual crew, assisting with seasonal plant displays and with the maintenance of the offsite propagation facility, and helping to provide visitors with information on the gardens. The gardener works directly with two full time Horticulturists.

Development Specialist

The Development Specialist provides support for development activities as the National Writing Project expands its fundraising efforts. I wonder if the French Institute takes people qui ne peut pas parler Francais avec “une maîtrise parfaite” mais qui peut at least lire le plus de le job listing. And also who don’t have teaching credentials.  Basically, I could be like “I speak shitty French, but I used to be fluent. And I had to run most of this cover letter through Google translate.”  Hmm. I’ll probably have better luck with the Tall Model gig.
