Fun Time Open Thread: All Saints’ Day

Today is not only the day after Halloween, it’s also All Saints’ Day. Actually, Halloween is short for All Hallows’ Eve − originally, All Saints’ Day, or Hallowmas, was the real holiday but the eve has gained popularity over the years.

I’m not Catholic, but I’ve always found the idea of patron saints interesting. How many do you know?

Who is the patron saint of:

  1. Accountants
  2. Actors
  3. Lost causes
  4. Travel
  5. Bee keepers
  6. Dancers
  7. Fire fighters
  8. Glassworkers
  9. Lost things
  10. Mothers
  11. Quebec
  12. Radios
  13. Schools

Like I said, I should really know more of these without the help of the Internet!!

My confirmation saint was St. Lucy. She was burned at the stake. She’s also the patron saint of eye disorders.
