Good Thursday, my most favorite Internet readers, I hope today is treating you like the awesomesauce you are.
For today’s LTP, I want to know the most played song on your MP3 player.
Mine is “Chick Habit” by April March, followed by “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele.

I just got a new computer, so I don’t feel like my iTunes statistics are fully formed. On my old one, I think Extraordinary Machine by Fiona Apple was at the top. Right now it’s Look Out Sunshine! by The Fratellis, followed by Fast As You Can by Fiona Apple (She speaks to my angsty soul, ok?).
Fast As You Can is the really fast-paced song with the drums, yeah? That song is the STUFF. Extraordinary Machine is also rad.
(see attached screen cap of my iTunes); this is embarrassing.
I mostly listen to my iPod when I run, which might kind of explain some of it kind of.
also my music-listening records got wiped like three years ago, so everything from before that isn’t represented. I used to listen to the same song, sometimes more than once, before bed (“These Dreams” by the Sim Redmond Band–it’s the only song of theirs I’ve ever heard of and I don’t know anything about them) and sometimes a couple of others (“On Every Street” by my fav. band Dire Straits, some Julie Roberts) so in years past those were my top musics.
right now I’m running up the play count on Bob Dylan’s masterpiece Christmas in the Heart, which is on repeat from now until Boxing Day!
Mine’s Cold War by Janelle Monae. Righteous. Next most played is Jacksonville by Sufjan Stevens. I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS AND THAT SONG CONTAINS THEM.
Mine is Lady by the Little River Band. Don’t judge me.
LADY! I THINK IT’S ONLY FAIR I SHOULD SAY TO YOU DON’T BE THINKING THAT I DON’T WANT YOU, ‘CAUSE, LADY, I DO.
I f’ing LOVE that song!
