Good afternoon to my favorite Internet users in all of the Internet! It’s another exciting Monday here in Persepheworld, and we have a really exciting week planned for you.
Speaking of weekly planning, what’s one task you’d like to finish before Friday? I want to have all my gifts bought and wrapped by Friday afternoon, but we’ll see how it goes.

I really need to start making my cookies this week. I have a huge list of people who need boxes. Last year, I did them all in a marathon two days before Christmas and we had SO MANY leftover because I never had time to make boxes for people apart from the trays for our families’ celebrations.
I’d like to never have to battle a shopping cart again. I never come out on top.
I want to have everything I need to ship done and ready to mail before next weekend, cards AND gifts. Wish me luck.
I want to get everyone’s gifts done/out (which should be easy, since it’s all small items and donations I’m making in their names), and get my house straightened because I have guests coming tomorrow. Best time to get sick? Yesterday. Awesome.
I have some serious chaos at my house right now, so I’m hoping that by Friday, I’ll be able to put everything back in its proper home.
I want to sign up for a credit union. Â This has been a goal for awhile, but since I lost my wallet with everything bank-related in it over the weekend, I might as well just cancel that crap and start fresh.
Ooh, this is on my to-do list as well. But probably not this week.
I’d like to get my Christmas cards out. *fingers crossed*
(Also, I’m officially awesome because Persephone used my suggestion for the tagline above. Yay, me! :-D )
Christmas cards! Thanks for reminding me. Mine are like half-ready to go.
This is my holiday card.
My boss just asked me what I was “laughing darkly” at.
Your Persephone-branded imaginary unicorn is in the mail.
(Seriously, every single editor voted for it.)
Get the Mister’s family’s presents bought (mine are done), make travel arrangements (renting a car, finding a dog-friendly hotel room, etc.), make some cookies, decorate a gingerbread house, and maybe hang some lights.
Maybe.
I’m very excited for Friday to get here because I get to go home for three weeks starting around lunchtime on Friday. Â So I really hope to have all my pre-travel cleaning and packing done so I can leave as soon as my exams are over that morning instead of having to stay around a little extra.
