Hey, fat beauties and those who shop for them! Here’s another update on winter apparel, but here, we’re talking hot and sexy winter coats for all your bundle-up needs.
Without too much further ado, I just want to say that Etsy is a treasure trove of stylish, hand-made goddesses making gorgeous winter coats fit to order. Not too many people out there can boast bespoke winter jackets for under $1,000, but on Etsy, any lady can.
This lady only goes up to XXL, but I think the style is forgiving enough to allow some flexibility in the sizing:

The same clothier makes this to-die-for hooded cloak:

This seller makes fit to order, and I honestly think you should; particularly since, with a little extra cash, you can get this baby full-length if you’d like:

While if you like the more military look, this beauty is also cut-to-order and comes in a variety of colors:

And I couldn’t resist including this homage to Jackie-O (although, it only runs up to about a U.S. Size 20):

But Etsy isn’t your only source for plus-size cold weather duds. For instance, SimplyBe comes through:

And for a more collegiate look:

While Bloomingdales serves up this sex-on-a-curve made specially for zooming around town on your Vespa:

And this made-for-the-slopes take on the puff-jacket that won’t make you look like the Michelin Man:

And finally, Nordstrom lets us know that it can’t quit big girls, either with this brokeback gorgeousness:

Basically, ladies, there is hope for cozy winter wear for the plus-sized gal. Go bundle up and get that booty outside; it’s chilly out, but that’s no reason we bigger gals can’t get our winter wonderland on.

Nice one! Thanks for this! It’s kind of a struggle to find nice coats when you got big ol’ arms like mine.
My pleasure!
I am fawning over that smart coat and the faux leather jacket!
I keep having visions of myself in the faux leather jacket, but they involve high speed chases and cigarette smoking.
I might be completely drooling over that trench swing, although I already have two trench coats.
But do you have a trench swing coat?
She had me at “Victorian”
Shush, woman! Don’t accomodate me!
I’m pretty much a classic enabler of whatever a person’s vice happens to be. Buy, woman! Buy, buy, buy!
Luckily, looking at the price helped. I’m cool now.
Where were you last fall, when I was spending hours a night looking for a Jack Harkness-inspired plus-size coat?! (It was pretty much all I tumblred about for a few months there …) Seriously, though, these look fantastic!
Tumblrin? Getting ready to move? I DONT KNOW HERE THEY ARE
There are SO many gorgeous coats here! Â My wallet may not like you very much right now, but I sure do.
This kicky grey number  is what I’ve been wearing this winter.  It is just as gorgeous in person as it is in the photo, and wonderfully warm to boot.  In fact, I’ve been bitter that this winter has been so mild because I want to wear this coat every single day and I can’t.
Oooh. Hello, mamacoat.
That swing coat! I LOVE it.
Eeee, right?
Yea! I love all of these. I’m totally heading over to Etsy now. Thanks.
Mwah!
Thanks for this — I am always overwhelmed by Etsy but know that others, like you, are able to mine it for great stuff.
Compulsion ftw!
No, seriously. I am a compulsive shopper. This is my healthy outlet.
I swear I am going to save up for a hooded cloak now. I love how cool yet “refined” looking that is (at least in my opinion)!
Concur! If you truly have bangs + glasses, a hooded cloak will turn you into the hipsteriest of red riding hoods.
I mean that in a good way.
Kristin Miles makes some great winter coats!
Um, hawt.
