Hello there, fellow challengers! You’ve survived another seven days. Hooray! How are you all feeling?
Now then, I have a very important topic I’d like to discuss: rewarding yourself.
Most of my rewards are food-related, mostly because I love to cook and eat. When I was working out regularly, after a particularly tough workout, I’d stop on the way home and splurge on fancy cheese and apples, or when I was trying to cut back on lattes, I’d treat myself to a latte. For some reason, a little treat added to the thrill of working my muscles to the point of exhaustion. I worked hard, and even if it’s for the five minutes or so that it would take me to drink my latte or eat my fancy cheese, I enjoyed the spoils of victory.
So, my lovelies, how do you reward yourself? Is it after finishing your workout with a glass of really cold chocolate milk (one of my personal favorites)? Are you planning something once the challenge is over to celebrate? Or is maybe just being done for the day reward enough?
