Ever have one of those weekends that ends and you just sit there, shaking your head, because you might as well have not had a weekend at all?
*raises hand* Yeah, that’s me, basically. I spent all weekend doing things for other people, including attend parties.
Did you have a weekend like me? Where you just didn’t get a moment to yourself to do whatever the hell you wanted? Tell us all about it!

We went to Lake George with some friends this weekend. It was fun, aside from getting caught in a couple torrential downpours. But now I have so much stuff to do this week and I’m exhausted.
My weekend was just blah. Nothing exciting or adventurous. The family did play croquet in the backyard, that was fun.
I was unfortunately kinda moody and out of sorts all weekend, but I did get to see my niece and nephew, so that was nice. I’m looking forward to my kids starting school though because they’re getting a bit stir crazy.
It’s not so much been a weekend of running around, as a weekend where there has been just about no peace and quiet. I’m beginning to creak a little. But we do have excitement: Juniper Junior starts school tomorrow! So we’ve been double checking uniforms, bags, and info!!
I spent my weekend in the culminating wedding that has been overtaking my life lately. Two good friends getting married and I was the one responsible for everyone’s clothing. It all went wonderfully well however and the bride looked amazing so yay! Also now I don’t have any wedding stuff to work on, it feels strange and nicely liberating.
I actually blew off a friend’s housewarming party this weekend because I was feeling overextended and I wanted to stay home and nap. I feel a little bit bad, but not a lot. She wasn’t a close friend, and I come first.
I had a great Saturday slacking off and going to the PA Renn Faire. That was a lot of fun!
But Sunday I spent from 9 am to midnight working on data extraction…that was not as much fun. And it’s back to lab today. I just really really want these results to be good enough that I can actually run my experiment, and not continue on with testing.
I was contemplating going to the Renn Faire up here next weekend.
