31 Days of Halloween with Slay — Day 18 Guest Post, Franken Nails!

Once I saw my friend Amy’s amazing Frankenstein nail art, I begged her to contribute a tutorial on how you, dear readers, could do this at home. – SlayIt’s alive! Brighten up your nails with some Frankenstein nail art. A matte topcoat gives this Halloween manicure a cute, animated feel.

You will need: lime green, black and white nail polishes, a matte topcoat, a striping brush, dotting tool, and a detail brush. A regular paintbrush and a toothpick should work if you don’t have nail art brushes.

I used: Essence white tip painter, Essence Matte Top Coat, Nicki Minaj for OPI in Did It On “˜Em and a black nail art polish from Sally’s.

Step 7: Allow the polish to dry until set, so the colours don’t get smudged by the topcoat. Apply one coat of matte polish to seal your work. Spend the rest of the week constantly bemused by your fingertips.
