Ladybloggers love us some ladyblogs, so here’s what we’ve been reading all week.
Tracie may occasionally be a douche, but this story of entering her baby in a beauty pageant is f’ing hilarious. Jezebel
Caitlin Moran did this interview with Lena Dunham and Tumblr got VERY upset because Caitlin Moran got critisized for not bringing up Dunham’s complete ignorance of race in her stuff and she responded by basically saying she didn’t give a crap about PoC. It’s a microcosm of how feminism has problems and how a lot of times feminists don’t play nice in the sandbox for whatever reason. Read the interview in The Times of London and see the exchange on Twitter.
In The Huffington Post, Allison Tate has a great discussion about what’s up with all the pictures with kids and no moms. The Huffington Post
Sociological Images helps break down the gender wage gap over time. Sociological Images
This is a funny one! The Debate in gifs by Ann Friedman. The American Prospect
Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? Considering one? Here you go. Shmitten Kitten
That video of that news anchor responding with class to a grade A douche-canoe who attacked her weight gets some analysis. FatNutritionist

I love this feature! Thanks for skimming through the ladyblogs so I don’t have to. I’m not a parent but the mama in the picture one made me weep and rethink some life choices.
Apparently that news anchor woman is Ron Livingston’s sister. As in the dude from Office Space.
(Also, don’t read the comments on the Fat Nutritionist piece. Here be trolls.)
Couldn’t read The Times interview as it’s a subscription service, but did do a little searching and – from what I read, at least – it seems to have descended into something of a screaming match rather than a constructive construction.
The article by Allison Tate, oh my, a lot of food for thought. Think it’ll be leading to changes here.
