Dudette, I read 86 books. Now I have to do research! It’s the most wonderful tiiiiiime of the yeeeeeear! I’m going to have to throw in “When She Woke.” Seriously overlooked. Seconded! Riveting story. 1Q84 (though technically it was split and one lead was female and the other was male) I’m going to say “Noughts & Crosses”, especially since the female lead is called Persephone!
