Happy Monday! Are you feeling a little green from over-indulging yesterday? We don’t make a big deal about St. Patrick’s Day – according to my very Irish husband, it wasn’t a big deal to his mom (100% Irish, complete with brogue), so it’s not a big deal for him. If it means I don’t have to make corned beef, well then I’m going with it.In high school, I had friends obsessed with everything French. In college, I had friends who were more than a little excited about anything Irish. I have friends who pride themselves on their Indian cooking, although they’re not of Indian descent. I know people who make the best flan, yet have no ties to Central America but ones they’ve made themselves.
