Pippi vs. Meg was a heartbreaking one. Team Murry! I really really love Pippi, but discovering Meg Murry was sort of life changing.
I’m sorry Team Lyra: Meg Mutha’F*ing Murray!!!
*fist pump!*
I knew those counters were goiong to bite me in the ass. Pippi helped me survive my childhood. To see her go just breaks my heart.
Ditto
Excuse me. I need to go throw things. A lot of things. A lot of very breakable and possibly flammable things.
(she’s still eligible next year. None of these ladies are.)
But still.
I am also sulking. A lot. BOOOOO!
Oh Pippi, we came so far. I’m so proud of you. Let’s bake pancakes.
BEATRICE OR GTFO.
You have to click on these to see the animation, but they’re worth it.
QUEEN OF THE ICE BURN.
(right-click, save)
I am so happy she’s in the lead right now!!!
What?! Donna Noble, er, I mean, Catherine Tate played Beatrice? When did this happen? Why have I not seen it yet? Where can I acquire this performance? How did I not know this occurred?
I must remedy this deficit immediately!
Donna Noble was Beatrice and Ten was Benedick, and it was GLORIOUS. They played at the Wyndham a couple of years ago, and the Mister and I went all the way to London to see it live from way back in the upper balcony and it was worth every single penny. They taped it once, I think, and you can watch a trailer and then rent or buy it here: http://www.digitaltheatre.com/production/details/much-ado-about-nothing-tennant-tate
Added to my weekend agenda…
I love her and I love even more that she was Beatrice! I need to find this version now…
